Accessories

These are the molds for creating the Hatch Covers. They are machined out of 32mm MDF . Then sealed with 2 pac paint to allow mold release. Sand-able Gel Coat is applied first, followed by 2 layers of 450 gm Uni at 90 deg. The 20 mm infusion foam as seen is placed next, followed by another 2 layers of 450 Uni. For bigger hatches high density foam can be inserted at hinge locations. A third diagonal layer of Uni can be added to the outside skin for extra strength if thought necessary. After release the edge is trimmed at the fold point.
